{"id":107,"date":"2015-04-27T00:55:33","date_gmt":"2015-04-27T00:55:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/orthodoxinsight.com\/?p=107"},"modified":"2015-04-27T00:55:33","modified_gmt":"2015-04-27T00:55:33","slug":"april-27-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/orthodoxinsight.com\/?p=107","title":{"rendered":"April 27, 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"color: #165916;\"><strong>Orthodox Daily Devotional<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Kontakion<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">As one who has become a citizen of Zion on high, \/ you had been ordained to the throne of Zion below. \/ You guided your flock to the heavenly sheepfold, blessed Simeon, \/ and for the sake of Christ, you were crucified, \/ imitating His passion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Scripture Reading<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>JOHN 4: <sup>27\u00a0<\/sup>And at this <em>point<\/em> His disciples came, and they marveled that He talked with a woman; yet no one said, \u201cWhat do You seek?\u201d or, \u201cWhy are You talking with her?\u201d<sup>28\u00a0<\/sup>The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, <sup>29\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cCome, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?\u201d <sup>30\u00a0<\/sup>Then they went out of the city and came to Him. <sup>31\u00a0<\/sup>In the meantime His disciples urged Him, saying, \u201cRabbi, eat.\u201d \u00a0<sup>32\u00a0<\/sup>But He said to them, \u201cI have food to eat of which you do not know.\u201d <sup>33\u00a0<\/sup>Therefore the disciples said to one another, \u201cHas anyone brought Him <em>anything<\/em> to eat?\u201d<sup>34\u00a0<\/sup>Jesus said to them, \u201cMy food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. <sup>35\u00a0<\/sup>Do you not say, \u2018There are still four months and <em>then<\/em> comes the harvest\u2019?
