The only requirement from us is the will to return to our Heavenly Father. When a man lives with the Lord, prays, confesses, and receives Communion, then he glorifies God for all things.<br \/>\n(Archimandrite Iliy who passed to eternity last week)<\/p>\n<p>Monday\u00a0 of the Fifth Week of Lent<\/p>\n<p>Unjust anger cannot be justified, For anger\u2019s decisive influence causes his fall. A patient man will hold fast until the proper time, Then afterwards gladness shall burst forth for him. He shall conceal his words until the proper time, And the lips of many will tell of his understanding.\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Book of Sirach 1: 19-21\\<\/p>\n<p>FOUR letter words are often associated with bad things, but, wait is not one of them.<\/p>\n<p>Bless the Lord O My Soul!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday of the Fifth Week of Lent<\/p>\n<p>Consider the work of God;<br \/>\nFor who can make straight what He has made crooked?<br \/>\n<sup>14\u00a0<\/sup>In the day of prosperity be joyful,<br \/>\nBut in the day of adversity consider:<br \/>\nSurely God has appointed the one <sup>[<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ecclesiastes%207&amp;version=NKJV#fen-NKJV-17444h\">h<\/a>]<\/sup>as well as the other,<br \/>\nSo that man can find out nothing <em>that will come<\/em> after him. Ecclesiastes 7:13-14<\/p>\n<p>WE must accept good and bad things that come in our life from the Lord..both are designed to bring us closer to Him.<\/p>\n<p>Glory to God in the highest and earth peace good will among men.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday\u00a0 of the Fifth Week of Lent<br \/>\nAnd a man who has found wisdom\u2014how blessed he is! But there is no one greater than a man who fears the Lord. The fear of the Lord is more important than anything. To what will it be compared?\u00a0 &#8211; Book of Sirach 25:2-11<\/p>\n<p>IF we know God and His commandments we want to keep them but often are drawn away by sin.\u00a0 \u00a0Fear of the Lord helps us think twice.<\/p>\n<p>Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thursday\u00a0 of the Fifth Week of Lent<\/p>\n<p>Rejoice, O young man, in your youth,<br \/>\nAnd let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth;<br \/>\nWalk in the\u00a0 ways of your heart,<br \/>\nAnd in the sight of your eyes;<br \/>\nBut know that for all these<br \/>\nGod will bring you into judgment.<br \/>\n<sup>10\u00a0<\/sup>Therefore remove\u00a0 sorrow from your heart,<br \/>\nAnd put away evil from your flesh,<br \/>\nFor childhood and\u00a0 youth <em>are<\/em> vanity. &#8211; Ecclesiastes 11:9-10<\/p>\n<p>THE concept here is that we are free to do what we want, even bad things.\u00a0 But we must also realize that eventually God will allow judgement to come to correct us.<\/p>\n<p>Give thanks to the Lord for He is good and His mercy endures forever.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Friday\u00a0\u00a0 of the Fifth Week of Lent<\/p>\n<p>Let the kindness of giving be shown In the presence of all the living, And do not withhold kindness from the dead. Do not withdraw yourself from those who weep, And mourn with those who mourn. Do not hesitate to visit a sick man, For by such visits you will be loved. With all your words, remember the time you will die, And you will never sin. \u2013 Book of Sirach 7:33-36<\/p>\n<p>KINDNESS for the dead is praying for them.<\/p>\n<p>Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on me!<\/p>\n<p>Saturday\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 of the Fifth Week of Lent<\/p>\n<p>I know that nothing <em>is<\/em> better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, <sup>13\u00a0<\/sup>and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor\u2014it <em>is<\/em> the gift of God.<\/p>\n<p><sup>14\u00a0<\/sup>I know that whatever God does,<br \/>\nIt shall be forever.<br \/>\nNothing can be added to it,<br \/>\nAnd nothing taken from it.<br \/>\nGod does <em>it,<\/em> that men should fear before Him.<br \/>\n<sup>15\u00a0<\/sup>That which is has already been,<br \/>\nAnd what is to be has already been;<br \/>\nAnd God requires an account of what is past. &#8211; Ecclesiastes 3:12-15<\/p>\n<p>NEVER forget that all good things come from the Lord.\u00a0 Always give thanks.<\/p>\n<p>Holy Mary &#8211; pray for us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sunday God has given us everything.
