JOHN 7: 14\u00a0<\/sup>Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and taught. 15\u00a0<\/sup>And the Jews marveled, saying, \u201cHow does this Man know letters, having never studied?\u201d16\u00a0<\/sup>Jesus answered them and said, \u201cMy doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17\u00a0<\/sup>If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether<\/em> I speak on My own authority.<\/em> 18\u00a0<\/sup>He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him. 19\u00a0<\/sup>Did not Moses give you the law, yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill Me?\u201d20\u00a0<\/sup>The people answered and said, \u201cYou have a demon. Who is seeking to kill You?\u201d21\u00a0<\/sup>Jesus answered and said to them, \u201cI did one work, and you all marvel. 22\u00a0<\/sup>Moses therefore gave you circumcision (not that it is from Moses, but from the fathers), and you circumcise a man on the Sabbath. 23\u00a0<\/sup>If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath, so that the law of Moses should not be broken, are you angry with Me because I made a man completely well on the Sabbath? 24\u00a0<\/sup>Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Doctrine that is of God, then, is one thing; doctrine that is human is another. So when the Jews, regarding him as man, called into question his teaching and said, \u201cHow does this man have such learning when he has never been taught?\u201d Jesus answered and said, \u201cMy teaching is not mine.\u201d For in teaching without elegance of letters, he seems to teach not as [a] man but rather as God who, instead of learning his doctrine, originated it.<\/p>\n
