JOHN 9: 13\u00a0<\/sup>They brought him who formerly was blind to the Pharisees. 14\u00a0<\/sup>Now it was a Sabbath when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes. 15\u00a0<\/sup>Then the Pharisees also asked him again how he had received his sight. He said to them, \u201cHe put clay on my eyes, and I washed, and I see.\u201d 16\u00a0<\/sup>Therefore some of the Pharisees said, \u201cThis Man is not from God, because He does not keep the Sabbath.\u201d Others said, \u201cHow can a man who is a sinner do such signs?\u201d And there was a division among them.17\u00a0<\/sup>They said to the blind man again, \u201cWhat do you say about Him because He opened your eyes?\u201dHe said, \u201cHe is a prophet.\u201d 18\u00a0<\/sup>But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind and received his sight, until they called the parents of him who had received his sight. 19\u00a0<\/sup>And they asked them, saying, \u201cIs this your son, who you say was born blind? How then does he now see?\u201d20\u00a0<\/sup>His parents answered them and said, \u201cWe know that this is our son, and that he was born blind; 21\u00a0<\/sup>but by what means he now sees we do not know, or who opened his eyes we do not know. He is of age; ask him. He will speak for himself.\u201d \u00a022\u00a0<\/sup>His parents said these things<\/em> because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had agreed already that if anyone confessed that<\/em> He was<\/em> Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue. 23\u00a0<\/sup>Therefore his parents said, \u201cHe is of age; ask him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhile it is day\u201d means I must work while people can still believe on me as long as this life lasts. \u201cThe night comes,\u201d that is, the future, \u201cwhen no one can work.\u201d He did not say, \u201cwhen I cannot work\u201d but \u201cwhen no one can work,\u201d that is, when there is no longer faith, labors or repentance. For to show that he called faith a \u201cwork,\u201d \u2026 he replied, \u201cThis is the work of God, that you believe on him whom he has sent.\u201d Why then can no one do this kind of work in the future world? Because there is no faith there, but all, whether willingly or unwillingly, will simply submit.<\/p>\n
