\nRomans 8: 1<\/p>\n
There is<\/i> therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who[a<\/a>]<\/sup> do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. <\/span> 2\u00a0<\/sup>For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. <\/span> 3\u00a0<\/sup>For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did<\/i> by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, <\/span> 4\u00a0<\/sup>that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. <\/span> 5\u00a0<\/sup>For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live<\/i> according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. <\/span> 6\u00a0<\/sup>For to be [b<\/a>]<\/sup>carnally minded is<\/i> death, but to be spiritually minded is<\/i> life and peace. <\/span> 7\u00a0<\/sup>Because the [c<\/a>]<\/sup>carnal mind is<\/i> enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. <\/span> 8\u00a0<\/sup>So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.<\/span><\/p>\n 9\u00a0<\/sup>But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. <\/span> 10\u00a0<\/sup>And if Christ is<\/i> in you, the body is<\/i> dead because of sin, but the Spirit is<\/i> life because of righteousness. <\/span> 11\u00a0<\/sup>But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies [d<\/a>]<\/sup>through His Spirit who dwells in you.<\/span><\/p>\n 12\u00a0<\/sup>Therefore, brethren, we are debtors\u2014not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. <\/span> 13\u00a0<\/sup>For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. <\/span> 14\u00a0<\/sup>For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. <\/span> 15\u00a0<\/sup>For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, \u201cAbba,[e<\/a>]<\/sup> Father.\u201d <\/span> 16\u00a0<\/sup>The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, <\/span> 17\u00a0<\/sup>and if children, then heirs\u2014heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him,<\/i> that we may also be glorified together.<\/span><\/p>\n Prayer:\u00a0 O Most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us. O Lord, blot out our sins. O Master, pardon our iniquities. O Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities for Thy name’s sake.<\/p>\n **May the Soul of the faithful departed…<\/p>\n Monday 1:1\u00a0\u00a0Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God,<\/span><\/p>\n To the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus:<\/span><\/p>\n 2\u00a0<\/sup>Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n 3\u00a0<\/sup>Blessed be<\/i> the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places<\/i> in Christ, <\/span> 4\u00a0<\/sup>just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, <\/span> 5\u00a0<\/sup>having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, <\/span> 6\u00a0<\/sup>to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He [a<\/a>]<\/sup>made us accepted in the Beloved.<\/span><\/p>\n 7\u00a0<\/sup>In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace <\/span> 8\u00a0<\/sup>which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and [b<\/a>]<\/sup>prudence, <\/span> 9\u00a0<\/sup>having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, <\/span> 10\u00a0<\/sup>that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, [c<\/a>]<\/sup>both which are in heaven and which are on earth\u2014in Him. <\/span> 11\u00a0<\/sup>In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, <\/span> 12\u00a0<\/sup>that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.<\/span><\/p>\n Prayer:\u00a0 O come, let us worship God our King. **May the Soul of the faithful departed…<\/p>\n Tuesday 13\u00a0<\/sup>In Him you also trusted,<\/i> after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, <\/span> 14\u00a0<\/sup>who[d<\/a>]<\/sup> is the [e<\/a>]<\/sup>guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.<\/span><\/p>\n 15\u00a0<\/sup>Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, <\/span> 16\u00a0<\/sup>do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: <\/span> 17\u00a0<\/sup>that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, <\/span> 18\u00a0<\/sup>the eyes of your [f<\/a>]<\/sup>understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, <\/span> 19\u00a0<\/sup>and what is<\/i> the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power <\/span> 20\u00a0<\/sup>which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him<\/i> at His right hand in the heavenly places,<\/i> <\/span> 21\u00a0<\/sup>far above all principality[g<\/a>]<\/sup> and [h<\/a>]<\/sup>power and [i<\/a>]<\/sup>might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.<\/span><\/p>\n 22\u00a0<\/sup>And He put all things<\/i> under His feet, and gave Him to be<\/i> head over all things<\/i> to the church, <\/span> 23\u00a0<\/sup>which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.<\/span><\/p>\n Prayer:\u00a0 Soul of Christ, sanctify me, Body of Christ, save me Blood of Christ, inebriate me, Water from Christ’s side, wash me, Passion of Christ, strengthen me, O good Jesus, hear me, Within Thy wounds hide me, Suffer me not to be separated from Thee, From the malicious enemy defend me, In the hour of my death call me, And bid me come unto Thee, That I may praise Thee with Thy saints, and with Thy angels, Forever and ever, Amen.<\/p>\n **May the Soul of the faithful departed…<\/p>\n Wednesday 4\u00a0<\/sup>But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, <\/span> 5\u00a0<\/sup>even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), <\/span> 6\u00a0<\/sup>and raised us<\/i> up together, and made us<\/i> sit together in the heavenly places<\/i> in Christ Jesus, <\/span> 7\u00a0<\/sup>that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His<\/i> kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. <\/span> 8\u00a0<\/sup>For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is<\/i> the gift of God, <\/span> 9\u00a0<\/sup>not of works, lest anyone should boast. <\/span> 10\u00a0<\/sup>For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.<\/span><\/p>\n Prayer:\u00a0 Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.\u00a0 Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.<\/p>\n **May the Soul of the faithful departed…<\/p>\n Thursday 14\u00a0<\/sup>For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, <\/span> 15\u00a0<\/sup>having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is,<\/i> the law of commandments contained<\/i> in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from<\/i> the two, thus<\/i> making peace, <\/span> 16\u00a0<\/sup>and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. <\/span> 17\u00a0<\/sup>And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. <\/span> 18\u00a0<\/sup>For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.<\/span><\/p>\n 19\u00a0<\/sup>Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, <\/span> 20\u00a0<\/sup>having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,<\/i> <\/span> 21\u00a0<\/sup>in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, <\/span> 22\u00a0<\/sup>in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n Prayer:\u00a0 Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth. O, God, who taught the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit,\u00a0 grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.<\/p>\n Friday 14\u00a0<\/sup>For this reason I bow my knees to the Father [f<\/a>]<\/sup>of our Lord Jesus Christ, <\/span> 15\u00a0<\/sup>from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, <\/span> 16\u00a0<\/sup>that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, <\/span> 17\u00a0<\/sup>that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, <\/span> 18\u00a0<\/sup>may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is<\/i> the width and length and depth and height\u2014 <\/span> 19\u00a0<\/sup>to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.<\/span><\/p>\n 20\u00a0<\/sup>Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, <\/span> 21\u00a0<\/sup>to Him be<\/i> glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.
