Sunday<\/p>\n
Mark 8:22\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him. <\/span> 23\u00a0<\/sup>So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything.<\/span><\/p>\n 24\u00a0<\/sup>And he looked up and said, \u201cI see men like trees, walking.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n 25\u00a0<\/sup>Then He put His<\/i> hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly. <\/span> 26\u00a0<\/sup>Then He sent him away to his house, saying, [d<\/a>]<\/sup>\u201cNeither go into the town,<\/span> nor tell anyone in the town.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 27\u00a0<\/sup>Now Jesus and His disciples went out to the towns of Caesarea Philippi; and on the road He asked His disciples, saying to them, \u201cWho do men say that I am?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 28\u00a0<\/sup>So they answered, \u201cJohn the Baptist; but some say,<\/i> Elijah; and others, one of the prophets.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n 29\u00a0<\/sup>He said to them, \u201cBut who do you say that I am?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Peter answered and said to Him, \u201cYou are the Christ.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n 30\u00a0<\/sup>Then He strictly warned them that they should tell no one about Him.<\/span><\/p>\n Prayer: Monday 34\u00a0<\/sup>When He had called the people to Himself,<\/i> with His disciples also, He said to them, \u201cWhoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.<\/span> <\/span> 35\u00a0<\/sup>For<\/span> whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel\u2019s will save it.<\/span> <\/span> 36\u00a0<\/sup>For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?<\/span> <\/span> 37\u00a0<\/sup>Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?<\/span> <\/span> 38\u00a0<\/sup>For whoever<\/span> is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Prayer:\u00a0\u00a0 May the Strength of God guide us. May the Power of God preserve us. Tuesday 2\u00a0<\/sup>Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. <\/span> 3\u00a0<\/sup>His clothes became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them. <\/span> 4\u00a0<\/sup>And Elijah appeared to them with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus. <\/span> 5\u00a0<\/sup>Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, \u201cRabbi, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah\u201d\u2014 <\/span> 6\u00a0<\/sup>because he did not know what to say, for they were greatly afraid.<\/span><\/p>\n 7\u00a0<\/sup>And a cloud came and overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, \u201cThis is My beloved Son. Hear Him!\u201d <\/span> 8\u00a0<\/sup>Suddenly, when they had looked around, they saw no one anymore, but only Jesus with themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n 9\u00a0<\/sup>Now as they came down from the mountain, He commanded them that they should tell no one the things they had seen, till the Son of Man had risen from the dead. <\/span> 10\u00a0<\/sup>So they kept this word to themselves, questioning what the rising from the dead meant.<\/span><\/p>\n Prayer: Wednesday 12\u00a0<\/sup>Then He answered and told them, \u201cIndeed, Elijah is coming first and restores all things. And<\/span> how is it written concerning the Son of Man, that He must suffer many things and<\/span> be treated with contempt?<\/span> <\/span> 13\u00a0<\/sup>But I say to you that<\/span> Elijah has also come, and they did to him whatever they wished, as it is written of him.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 14\u00a0<\/sup>And when He came to the disciples, He saw a great multitude around them, and scribes disputing with them. <\/span> 15\u00a0<\/sup>Immediately, when they saw Him, all the people were greatly amazed, and running to Him,<\/i> greeted Him. <\/span> 16\u00a0<\/sup>And He asked the scribes, \u201cWhat are you discussing with them?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 17\u00a0<\/sup>Then one of the crowd answered and said, \u201cTeacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit. <\/span> 18\u00a0<\/sup>And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Prayer: Thursday 21\u00a0<\/sup>So He asked his father, \u201cHow long has this been happening to him?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n And he said, \u201cFrom childhood. <\/span> 22\u00a0<\/sup>And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n 23\u00a0<\/sup>Jesus said to him, \u201cIf<\/span>[d<\/a>]<\/sup> you can believe, all things are<\/i> possible to him who believes.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 24\u00a0<\/sup>Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, \u201cLord, I believe; help my unbelief!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n 25\u00a0<\/sup>When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, \u201cDeaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!\u201d<\/span> <\/span> 26\u00a0<\/sup>Then the spirit<\/i> cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, \u201cHe is dead.\u201d <\/span> 27\u00a0<\/sup>But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.<\/span><\/p>\n 28\u00a0<\/sup>And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, \u201cWhy could we not cast it out?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n 29\u00a0<\/sup>So He said to them, \u201cThis kind can come out by nothing but<\/span> prayer<\/span> [e<\/a>]<\/sup>and fasting.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Prayer: Friday 33\u00a0<\/sup>Then He came to Capernaum. And when He was in the house He asked them, \u201cWhat was it you<\/span> [f<\/a>]<\/sup>disputed among yourselves on the road?\u201d<\/span> <\/span> 34\u00a0<\/sup>But they kept silent, for on the road they had disputed among themselves who would be the<\/i> greatest. <\/span> 35\u00a0<\/sup>And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, \u201cIf anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.\u201d<\/span> <\/span> 36\u00a0<\/sup>Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. \nGlory to God in the Highest and on earth peace good will among men.<\/p>\n
\nMark 8:31\u00a0<\/sup>And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. <\/span> 32\u00a0<\/sup>He spoke this word openly. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him. <\/span> 33\u00a0<\/sup>But when He had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, \u201cGet behind Me, Satan! For you are not<\/span> [e<\/a>]<\/sup>mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
\nMay the Wisdom of God instruct us. May the Hand of God protect us.
\nMay the Way of God direct us. May the Shield of God defend us.
\nMay the Angels of God guard us. – Against the snares of the evil one.

And after He is killed, He will<\/span> rise the third day.\u201d<\/span> <\/span> 32\u00a0<\/sup>But they did not understand this saying, and were afraid to ask Him.<\/span><\/p>\n
\nChrist is in our midst \u2013 He is and always shall be<\/p>\n
\nMark 9:38\u00a0<\/sup>Now John answered Him, saying, \u201cTeacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
