No one is<\/i> good but One, that is,<\/i><\/span> God.<\/span> <\/span> 19\u00a0<\/sup>You know the commandments:<\/span> \u2018Do not commit adultery,\u2019 \u2018Do not murder,\u2019 \u2018Do not steal,\u2019 \u2018Do not bear false witness,\u2019 \u2018Do not defraud,\u2019 \u2018Honor your father and your mother.\u2019<\/span> \u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 20\u00a0<\/sup>And he answered and said to Him, \u201cTeacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n 21\u00a0<\/sup>Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, \u201cOne thing you lack: Go your way,<\/span> sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have<\/span> treasure in heaven; and come,<\/span> take up the cross, and follow Me.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 22\u00a0<\/sup>But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.<\/span><\/p>\n Prayer: <\/p>\n Wednesday 26\u00a0<\/sup>And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, \u201cWho then can be saved?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n 27\u00a0<\/sup>But Jesus looked at them and said, \u201cWith men it is<\/i> impossible, but not<\/span> with God; for with God all things are possible.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 28\u00a0<\/sup>Then Peter began to say to Him, \u201cSee, we have left all and followed You.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n 29\u00a0<\/sup>So Jesus answered and said, \u201cAssuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother<\/span> [c<\/a>]<\/sup>or wife or children or<\/span> [d<\/a>]<\/sup>lands, for My sake and the gospel\u2019s,<\/span> <\/span> 30\u00a0<\/sup>who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time\u2014houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with<\/span> persecutions\u2014and in the age to come, eternal life.<\/span> <\/span> 31\u00a0<\/sup>But many who are<\/i> first will be last, and the last first.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Prayer: 35\u00a0<\/sup>Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to Him, saying, \u201cTeacher, we want You to do for us whatever we ask.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n 36\u00a0<\/sup>And He said to them, \u201cWhat do you want Me to do for you?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 37\u00a0<\/sup>They said to Him, \u201cGrant us that we may sit, one on Your right hand and the other on Your left, in Your glory.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Prayer:\u00a0\u00a0 O give thanks to the Lord for He is good, for His mercy endures forever.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Friday 39\u00a0<\/sup>They said to Him, \u201cWe are able.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n So Jesus said to them, \u201cYou will indeed drink the cup that I drink, and with the baptism I am baptized with you will be baptized;<\/span> <\/span> 40\u00a0<\/sup>but to sit on My right hand and on My left is not Mine to give, but it is for those<\/i><\/span> for whom it is prepared.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 41\u00a0<\/sup>And when the ten heard it,<\/i> they began to be greatly displeased with James and John. <\/span> 42\u00a0<\/sup>But Jesus called them to Himself<\/i> and said to them, \u201cYou know that those who are considered rulers over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.<\/span> <\/span>

\nThis is the day which the Lord has made.\u00a0 Let us rejoice and be glad therein.<\/p>\n
\nMark 10:1\u00a0Then He arose from there and came to the region of Judea by the other side of the Jordan. And multitudes gathered to Him again, and as He was accustomed, He taught them again.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nMark 10:\u00a013\u00a0<\/sup>Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them.<\/i> <\/span> 14\u00a0<\/sup>But when Jesus saw it,<\/i> He was greatly displeased and said to them, \u201cLet the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for<\/span> of such is the kingdom of God.<\/span> <\/span> 15\u00a0<\/sup>Assuredly, I say to you,<\/span> whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will<\/span> by no means enter it.\u201d<\/span> <\/span> 16\u00a0<\/sup>And He took them up in His arms, laid His<\/i> hands on them, and blessed them.<\/span><\/p>\n
\nGlory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost.\u00a0 As it was in the beginning it is now and ever shall be, world without end.\u00a0 Amen.<\/p>\n
\nMark 10:23\u00a0<\/sup>Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, \u201cHow hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!\u201d<\/span> <\/span> 24\u00a0<\/sup>And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, \u201cChildren, how hard it is<\/span> [b<\/a>]<\/sup>for those<\/span> who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God!<\/span> <\/span> 25\u00a0<\/sup>It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a<\/span> rich man to enter the kingdom of God.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
\nCreate in me a clean heart of God and renew a right spirit within me.\u00a0 Cast me not from thy presence nor take thy Holy Spirit from me.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation and by thy governing spirit establish me.

\nMark 10:32\u00a0<\/sup>Now they were on the road, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was going before them; and they were amazed. And as they followed they were afraid. Then He took the twelve aside again and began to tell them the things that would happen to Him: <\/span> 33\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cBehold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death and deliver Him to the Gentiles;<\/span> <\/span> 34\u00a0<\/sup>and they will mock Him, and<\/span> [e<\/a>]<\/sup>scourge Him, and spit on Him, and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
\nMark 10:38\u00a0<\/sup>But Jesus said to them, \u201cYou do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the<\/span> cup that I drink, and be baptized with the<\/span> baptism that I am baptized with?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
