{"id":119,"date":"2015-04-28T00:37:43","date_gmt":"2015-04-28T00:37:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/orthodoxinsight.com\/?p=119"},"modified":"2015-04-28T00:37:43","modified_gmt":"2015-04-28T00:37:43","slug":"april-28","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orthodoxinsight.com\/?p=119","title":{"rendered":"April 28"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JOHN 4: <sup>39\u00a0<\/sup>And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, \u201cHe told me all that I <em>ever<\/em> did.\u201d \u00a0\u00a0<sup>40\u00a0<\/sup>So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. <sup>41\u00a0<\/sup>And many more believed because of His own word. <sup>42\u00a0<\/sup>Then they said to the woman, \u201cNow we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard <em>Him<\/em> and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.\u201d \u00a0<sup>43\u00a0<\/sup>Now after the two days He departed from there and went to Galilee. <sup>44\u00a0<\/sup>For Jesus Himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country. <sup>45\u00a0<\/sup>So when He came to Galilee, the Galileans received Him, having seen all the things He did in Jerusalem at the feast; for they also had gone to the feast.<\/p>\n<p>THOUGHTS ON THE NEED FOR FAITH: &#8220;&#8230;regardless of how and when the Lord chooses to reveal Himself it is always possible, in freedom and because of sin, to explain away that revelation&#8230;But without this faith no amount of knowledge or evidence will suffice.
