For as he who had a devil is the figure of the Gentile people, the two also in like manner take the figure of the Gentiles. For whereas Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japhet; the family of Shem only was called to the possession of God, and from the other two the people of different nations were descended. He (as Luke says) had devils long time, inasmuch as the Gentile people was vexed from the deluge down to our Lord\u2019s coming. But he was naked, because the Gentiles lost the garment of their nature and virtue.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Monday \u00a0Genesis 43 \u00a0*the brother return to Egypt with Benjamin as Joseph asked and talk to his steward..<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-1310\" class=\"text Gen-43-19\"><sup class=\"versenum\">19\u00a0<\/sup>When they drew near to the steward of Joseph\u2019s house, they talked with him at the door of the house, <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1311\" class=\"text Gen-43-20\"><sup class=\"versenum\">20\u00a0<\/sup>and said, \u201cO sir, we indeed came down the first time to buy food; <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1312\" class=\"text Gen-43-21\"><sup class=\"versenum\">21\u00a0<\/sup>but it happened, when we came to the encampment, that we opened our sacks, and there, <i>each<\/i> man\u2019s money <i>was<\/i> in the mouth of his sack, our money in full weight; so we have brought it back in our hand. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1313\" class=\"text Gen-43-22\"><sup class=\"versenum\">22\u00a0<\/sup>And we have brought down other money in our hands to buy food. We do not know who put our money in our sacks.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-1314\" class=\"text Gen-43-23\"><sup class=\"versenum\">23\u00a0<\/sup>But he said, \u201cPeace <i>be<\/i> with you, do not be afraid. Your God and the God of your father has given you treasure in your sacks; I had your money.\u201d Then he brought Simeon out to them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-1315\" class=\"text Gen-43-24\"><sup class=\"versenum\">24\u00a0<\/sup>So the man brought the men into Joseph\u2019s house and gave <i>them<\/i> water, and they washed their feet; and he gave their donkeys feed. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1316\" class=\"text Gen-43-25\"><sup class=\"versenum\">25\u00a0<\/sup>Then they made the present ready for Joseph\u2019s coming at noon, for they heard that they would eat bread there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-1317\" class=\"text Gen-43-26\"><sup class=\"versenum\">26\u00a0<\/sup>And when Joseph came home, they brought him the present which <i>was<\/i> in their hand into the house, and bowed down before him to the earth. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1318\" class=\"text Gen-43-27\"><sup class=\"versenum\">27\u00a0<\/sup>Then he asked them about <i>their<\/i> well-being, and said, \u201c<i>Is<\/i> your father well, the old man of whom you spoke? <i>Is<\/i> he still alive?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-1319\" class=\"text Gen-43-28\"><sup class=\"versenum\">28\u00a0<\/sup>And they answered, \u201cYour servant our father <i>is<\/i> in good health; he <i>is<\/i> still alive.\u201d And they bowed their heads down and prostrated themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-1320\" class=\"text Gen-43-29\"><sup class=\"versenum\">29\u00a0<\/sup>Then he lifted his eyes and saw his brother Benjamin, his mother\u2019s son, and said, \u201c<i>Is<\/i> this your younger brother of whom you spoke to me?\u201d And he said, \u201cGod be gracious to you, my son.\u201d <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1321\" class=\"text Gen-43-30\"><sup class=\"versenum\">30\u00a0<\/sup>Now his heart yearned for his brother; so Joseph made haste and sought <i>somewhere<\/i> to weep. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Tuesday \u00a0Genesis 44<\/p>\n<p class=\"chapter-2\"><span class=\"text Gen-44-1\"><span class=\"chapternum\">\u00a0<\/span>And he commanded the steward of his house, saying, \u201cFill the men\u2019s sacks with food, as much as they can carry, and put each man\u2019s money in the mouth of his sack. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1327\" class=\"text Gen-44-2\"><sup class=\"versenum\">2\u00a0<\/sup>Also put my cup, the silver cup, in the mouth of the sack of the youngest, and his grain money.\u201d So he did according to the word that Joseph had spoken. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1328\" class=\"text Gen-44-3\"><sup class=\"versenum\">3\u00a0<\/sup>As soon as the morning dawned, the men were sent away, they and their donkeys. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1329\" class=\"text Gen-44-4\"><sup class=\"versenum\">4\u00a0<\/sup>When they had gone out of the city, <i>and<\/i> were not <i>yet<\/i> far off, Joseph said to his steward, \u201cGet up, follow the men; and when you overtake them, say to them, \u2018Why have you repaid evil for good? <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1330\" class=\"text Gen-44-5\"><sup class=\"versenum\">5\u00a0<\/sup><i>Is<\/i> not this <i>the one<\/i> from which my lord drinks, and with which he indeed practices divination? You have done evil in so doing.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-1331\" class=\"text Gen-44-6\"><sup class=\"versenum\">6\u00a0<\/sup>So he overtook them, and he spoke to them these same words. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1332\" class=\"text Gen-44-7\"><sup class=\"versenum\">7\u00a0<\/sup>And they said to him, \u201cWhy does my lord say these words? Far be it from us that your servants should do such a thing. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1333\" class=\"text Gen-44-8\"><sup class=\"versenum\">8\u00a0<\/sup>Look, we brought back to you from the land of Canaan the money which we found in the mouth of our sacks. How then could we steal silver or gold from your lord\u2019s house? <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1334\" class=\"text Gen-44-9\"><sup class=\"versenum\">9\u00a0<\/sup>With whomever of your servants it is found, let him die, and we also will be my lord\u2019s slaves.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-1335\" class=\"text Gen-44-10\"><sup class=\"versenum\">10\u00a0<\/sup>And he said, \u201cNow also <i>let<\/i> it <i>be<\/i> according to your words; he with whom it is found shall be my slave, and you shall be blameless.\u201d <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1336\" class=\"text Gen-44-11\"><sup class=\"versenum\">11\u00a0<\/sup>Then each man speedily let down his sack to the ground, and each opened his sack. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1337\" class=\"text Gen-44-12\"><sup class=\"versenum\">12\u00a0<\/sup>So he searched. He began with the oldest and left off with the youngest; and the cup was found in Benjamin\u2019s sack. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1338\" class=\"text Gen-44-13\"><sup class=\"versenum\">13\u00a0<\/sup>Then they tore their clothes, and each man loaded his donkey and returned to the city.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Wednesday \u00a0Genesis 45<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-1362\" class=\"text Gen-45-3\"><sup class=\"versenum\">3\u00a0<\/sup>Then Joseph said to his brothers, \u201cI <i>am<\/i> Joseph; does my father still live?\u201d But his brothers could not answer him, for they were dismayed in his presence. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1363\" class=\"text Gen-45-4\"><sup class=\"versenum\">4\u00a0<\/sup>And Joseph said to his brothers, \u201cPlease come near to me.\u201d So they came near. Then he said: \u201cI <i>am<\/i> Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1364\" class=\"text Gen-45-5\"><sup class=\"versenum\">5\u00a0<\/sup>But now, do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1365\" class=\"text Gen-45-6\"><sup class=\"versenum\">6\u00a0<\/sup>For these two years the famine <i>has been<\/i> in the land, and <i>there are<\/i> still five years in which <i>there will be<\/i> neither plowing nor harvesting. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1366\" class=\"text Gen-45-7\"><sup class=\"versenum\">7\u00a0<\/sup>And God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1367\" class=\"text Gen-45-8\"><sup class=\"versenum\">8\u00a0<\/sup>So now <i>it was<\/i> not you <i>who<\/i> sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-1368\" class=\"text Gen-45-9\"><sup class=\"versenum\">9\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cHurry and go up to my father, and say to him, \u2018Thus says your son Joseph: \u201cGod has made me lord of all Egypt; come down to me, do not tarry. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1369\" class=\"text Gen-45-10\"><sup class=\"versenum\">10\u00a0<\/sup>You shall dwell in the land of Goshen<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Thursday \u00a0Genesis 46<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-1432\" class=\"text Gen-47-11\"><sup class=\"versenum\">11\u00a0<\/sup>And Joseph situated his father and his brothers, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1433\" class=\"text Gen-47-12\"><sup class=\"versenum\">12\u00a0<\/sup>Then Joseph provided his father, his brothers, and all his father\u2019s household with bread, according to the number in <i>their<\/i> families.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"text Gen-47-13\"><sup class=\"versenum\">13\u00a0<\/sup>Now <i>there was<\/i> no bread in all the land; for the famine <i>was<\/i> very severe, so that the land of Egypt and the land of Canaan languished because of the famine. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1435\" class=\"text Gen-47-14\"><sup class=\"versenum\">14\u00a0<\/sup>And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, for the grain which they bought; and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh\u2019s house.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-1436\" class=\"text Gen-47-15\"><sup class=\"versenum\">15\u00a0<\/sup>So when the money failed in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said, \u201cGive us bread, for why should we die in your presence? For the money has failed.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-1437\" class=\"text Gen-47-16\"><sup class=\"versenum\">16\u00a0<\/sup>Then Joseph said, \u201cGive your livestock, and I will give you <i>bread<\/i> for your livestock, if the money is gone.\u201d <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1438\" class=\"text Gen-47-17\"><sup class=\"versenum\">17\u00a0<\/sup>So they brought their livestock to Joseph, and Joseph gave them bread <i>in exchange<\/i> for the horses, the flocks, the cattle of the herds, and for the donkeys. Thus he fed them with bread <i>in exchange<\/i> for all their livestock that year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-1439\" class=\"text Gen-47-18\"><sup class=\"versenum\">18\u00a0<\/sup>When that year had ended, they came to him the next year and said to him, \u201cWe will not hide from my lord that our money is gone; my lord also has our herds of livestock. There is nothing left in the sight of my lord but our bodies and our lands. <\/span> <span id=\"en-NKJV-1440\" class=\"text Gen-47-19\"><sup class=\"versenum\">19\u00a0<\/sup>Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants of Pharaoh; give <i>us<\/i> seed, that we may live and not die, that the land may not be desolate.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NKJV-1441\" class=\"text Gen-47-20\"><sup class=\"versenum\">20\u00a0<\/sup>Then Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for every man of the Egyptians sold his field, because the famine was severe upon them. So the land became Pharaoh\u2019s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Friday \u00a0Genesis 49 \u00a0 *Israel blesses and prophecies about each of his sons, the Tribes of Israel<\/p>\n<p class=\"chapter-2\"><span class=\"text Gen-49-1\">And Jacob called his sons and said, \u201cGather together, that I may tell you what shall befall you in the last days:<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"poetry top-1\">\n<p class=\"line\"><span id=\"en-NKJV-1476\" class=\"text Gen-49-2\"><sup class=\"versenum\">2\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cGather together and hear, you sons of Jacob,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-2\">And listen to Israel your father.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"poetry top-1\">\n<p class=\"line\"><span id=\"en-NKJV-1477\" class=\"text Gen-49-3\"><sup class=\"versenum\">3\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cReuben, you are my firstborn,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-3\">My might and the beginning of my strength,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-3\">The excellency of dignity and the excellency of power.<\/span><br \/>\n<span id=\"en-NKJV-1478\" class=\"text Gen-49-4\"><sup class=\"versenum\">4\u00a0<\/sup>Unstable as water, you shall not excel,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-4\">Because you went up to your father\u2019s bed;<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-4\">Then you defiled <i>it<\/i>\u2014<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-4\">He went up to my couch.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"poetry top-1\">\n<p class=\"line\"><span id=\"en-NKJV-1479\" class=\"text Gen-49-5\"><sup class=\"versenum\">5\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cSimeon and Levi <i>are<\/i> brothers;<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-5\">Instruments of cruelty <i>are in<\/i> their dwelling place.<\/span><br \/>\n<span id=\"en-NKJV-1480\" class=\"text Gen-49-6\"><sup class=\"versenum\">6\u00a0<\/sup>Let not my soul enter their council;<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-6\">Let not my honor be united to their assembly;<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-6\">For in their anger they slew a man,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-6\">And in their self-will they hamstrung an ox.<\/span><br \/>\n<span id=\"en-NKJV-1481\" class=\"text Gen-49-7\"><sup class=\"versenum\">7\u00a0<\/sup>Cursed <i>be<\/i> their anger, for <i>it is<\/i> fierce;<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-7\">And their wrath, for it is cruel!<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-7\">I will divide them in Jacob<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-7\">And scatter them in Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"poetry top-1\">\n<p class=\"line\"><span id=\"en-NKJV-1482\" class=\"text Gen-49-8\"><sup class=\"versenum\">8\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cJudah, you <i>are he<\/i> whom your brothers shall praise;<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-8\">Your hand <i>shall be<\/i> on the neck of your enemies;<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-8\">Your father\u2019s children shall bow down before you.<\/span><br \/>\n<span id=\"en-NKJV-1483\" class=\"text Gen-49-9\"><sup class=\"versenum\">9\u00a0<\/sup>Judah <i>is<\/i> a lion\u2019s whelp;<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-9\">From the prey, my son, you have gone up.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-9\">He bows down, he lies down as a lion;<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-9\">And as a lion, who shall rouse him?<\/span><br \/>\n<span id=\"en-NKJV-1484\" class=\"text Gen-49-10\"><sup class=\"versenum\">10\u00a0<\/sup>The scepter shall not depart from Judah,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-10\">Nor a lawgiver from between his feet,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-10\">Until Shiloh comes;<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-10\">And to Him <i>shall be<\/i> the obedience of the people.<\/span><br \/>\n<span id=\"en-NKJV-1485\" class=\"text Gen-49-11\"><sup class=\"versenum\">11\u00a0<\/sup>Binding his donkey to the vine,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-11\">And his donkey\u2019s colt to the choice vine,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-11\">He washed his garments in wine,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-11\">And his clothes in the blood of grapes.<\/span><br \/>\n<span id=\"en-NKJV-1486\" class=\"text Gen-49-12\"><sup class=\"versenum\">12\u00a0<\/sup>His eyes <i>are<\/i> darker than wine,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-12\">And his teeth whiter than milk.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"line\">**The special honor show Judah is because Christ would come from this tribe<\/p>\n<p class=\"line\">Saturday<\/p>\n<div class=\"poetry top-1\">\n<p class=\"line\"><span id=\"en-NKJV-1487\" class=\"text Gen-49-13\">\u201cZebulun shall dwell by the haven of the sea;<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-13\">He <i>shall become<\/i> a haven for ships,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-13\">And his border shall adjoin Sidon.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"poetry top-1\">\n<p class=\"line\"><span id=\"en-NKJV-1488\" class=\"text Gen-49-14\"><sup class=\"versenum\">14\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cIssachar is a strong donkey,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-14\">Lying down between two burdens;<\/span><br \/>\n<span id=\"en-NKJV-1489\" class=\"text Gen-49-15\"><sup class=\"versenum\">15\u00a0<\/sup>He saw that rest <i>was<\/i> good,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-15\">And that the land <i>was<\/i> pleasant;<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-15\">He bowed his shoulder to bear <i>a burden,<\/i><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-15\">And became a band of slaves.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"poetry top-1\">\n<p class=\"line\"><span id=\"en-NKJV-1490\" class=\"text Gen-49-16\"><sup class=\"versenum\">16\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cDan shall judge his people<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-16\">As one of the tribes of Israel.<\/span><br \/>\n<span id=\"en-NKJV-1491\" class=\"text Gen-49-17\"><sup class=\"versenum\">17\u00a0<\/sup>Dan shall be a serpent by the way,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-17\">A viper by the path,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-17\">That bites the horse\u2019s heels<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-17\">So that its rider shall fall backward.<\/span><br \/>\n<span id=\"en-NKJV-1492\" class=\"text Gen-49-18\"><sup class=\"versenum\">18\u00a0<\/sup>I have waited for your salvation, O <span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span>!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"poetry top-1\">\n<p class=\"line\"><span id=\"en-NKJV-1493\" class=\"text Gen-49-19\"><sup class=\"versenum\">19\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cGad, a troop shall tramp upon him,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-19\">But he shall triumph at last.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"poetry top-1\">\n<p class=\"line\"><span id=\"en-NKJV-1494\" class=\"text Gen-49-20\"><sup class=\"versenum\">20\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cBread from Asher <i>shall be<\/i> rich,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-20\">And he shall yield royal dainties.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"poetry top-1\">\n<p class=\"line\"><span id=\"en-NKJV-1495\" class=\"text Gen-49-21\"><sup class=\"versenum\">21\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cNaphtali <i>is<\/i> a deer let loose;<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-21\">He uses beautiful words.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"poetry top-1\">\n<p class=\"line\"><span id=\"en-NKJV-1496\" class=\"text Gen-49-22\"><sup class=\"versenum\">22\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cJoseph <i>is<\/i> a fruitful bough,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-22\">A fruitful bough by a well;<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-22\">His branches run over the wall.<\/span><br \/>\n<span id=\"en-NKJV-1497\" class=\"text Gen-49-23\"><sup class=\"versenum\">23\u00a0<\/sup>The archers have bitterly grieved him,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-23\">Shot <i>at him<\/i> and hated him.<\/span><br \/>\n<span id=\"en-NKJV-1498\" class=\"text Gen-49-24\"><sup class=\"versenum\">24\u00a0<\/sup>But his bow remained in strength,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-24\">And the arms of his hands were made strong<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-24\">By the hands of the Mighty <i>God<\/i> of Jacob<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-24\">(From there <i>is<\/i> the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel),<\/span><br \/>\n<span id=\"en-NKJV-1499\" class=\"text Gen-49-25\"><sup class=\"versenum\">25\u00a0<\/sup>By the God of your father who will help you,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-25\">And by the Almighty who will bless you<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text Gen-49-25\"><i>With<\/i> blessings of heaven above,<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"text
