{"id":451,"date":"2015-06-19T20:18:36","date_gmt":"2015-06-20T00:18:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/orthodoxinsight.com\/?p=451"},"modified":"2015-06-13T21:23:19","modified_gmt":"2015-06-14T01:23:19","slug":"saturday-june-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orthodoxinsight.com\/?p=451","title":{"rendered":"Saturday, June 20"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MATTHEW 10 And when He had called His twelve disciples to <em>Him,<\/em> He gave them power <em>over<\/em> unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. <sup>2\u00a0<\/sup>Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the <em>son<\/em> of Zebedee, and John his brother; <sup>3\u00a0<\/sup>Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the <em>son<\/em> of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; <sup>4\u00a0<\/sup>Simon the Cananite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him. <sup>5\u00a0<\/sup>These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: \u201cDo not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. <sup>6\u00a0<\/sup>But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. <sup>7\u00a0<\/sup>And as you go, preach, saying, \u2018The kingdom of heaven is at hand.\u2019 <sup>8\u00a0<\/sup>Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead,\u00a0cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. <sup>9\u00a0<\/sup>Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, <sup>10\u00a0<\/sup>nor bag for <em>your<\/em> journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food. <sup>11\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cNow whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. <sup>12\u00a0<\/sup>And when you go into a household, greet it. <sup>13\u00a0<\/sup>If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it.
