\nLuke 7:11 \u00a0 Now it happened, the day after, that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and a large crowd. 12 \u00a0 And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her. 13 \u00a0 When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, \u201cDo not weep.\u201d 14 \u00a0 Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, \u201cYoung man, I say to you, arise.\u201d 15 \u00a0 So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother. 16 \u00a0 Then fear came upon all, and they glorified God, saying, \u201cA great prophet has risen up among us\u201d; and, \u201cGod has visited His<\/p>\n
Prayer:\u00a0 O my God I firmly believe that Thou art one God in three Divine Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; I believe that Thy Divine Son became man, and died for our sins, and that he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and all the truths which the Holy Catholic Church teaches, because Thou hast revealed them, who canst neither deceive nor be deceived. (Act of Faith)<\/p>\n

\nMatthew 11\u00a0Now it came to pass, when Jesus finished commanding His twelve disciples, that He departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities. 2 \u00a0 And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of* his disciples 3 \u00a0 and said to Him, \u201cAre You the Coming One, or do we look for another?\u201d 4 \u00a0 Jesus answered and said to them, \u201cGo and tell John the things which you hear and see: 5The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.\u201d 7 \u00a0 As they departed, Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John: \u201cWhat did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? 8But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft garments? Indeed, those who wear soft clothing are in kings\u2019 houses. 9But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet. 10For this is he of whom it is written: \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u2018 Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Who will prepare Your way before You.\u2019* 11\u201c Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. 13For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come. 15He who has ears to hear, let him hear!<\/p>\n
Prayer:\u00a0 Having risen from sleep I hasten to Thee, O Lord, Lover of men, and by Thy loving-kindness I strive to do Thy work, and I pray to Thee:\u00a0 help me at all times, in everything, and deliver me from every evil thing of the world and every attack of the devil, and lead me into Thine eternal Kingdom. For Thou art my Creator, the Giver and Provider of everything good, and all my hope is in Thee, and to Thee I send up glory, now and ever, and to the ages of ages.\u00a0 Amen.

18 \u00a0 Then the disciples of John reported to him concerning all these things. 19 \u00a0 And John, calling two of his disciples to him, sent them to Jesus,* saying, \u201cAre You the Coming One, or do we look for another?\u201d 20 \u00a0 When the men had come to Him, they said, \u201cJohn the Baptist has sent us to You, saying, \u2018Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?\u2019 \u00a0\u201d 21 \u00a0 And that very hour He cured many of infirmities, afflictions, and evil spirits; and to many blind He gave sight. 22 \u00a0 Jesus answered and said to them, \u201cGo and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the<\/p>\n

Prayer:\u00a0 Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears! Turn, then, O most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

\nLuke 7:41\u201c There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 42And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?\u201d 43 \u00a0 Simon answered and said, \u201cI suppose the one whom he forgave more.\u201d And He said to him, \u201cYou have rightly judged.\u201d 44 \u00a0 Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, \u201cDo you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. 45You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. 46You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. 47Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.\u201d 48 \u00a0 Then He said to her, \u201cYour sins are forgiven.\u201d 49 \u00a0 And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves, \u201cWho is this who even forgives sins?\u201d 50 \u00a0 Then He said to the woman, \u201cYour faith has saved you.
