Mark 5:\u00a021 \u00a0 Now when Jesus had crossed over again by boat to the other side, a great multitude gathered to Him; and He was by the sea. 22 \u00a0 And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet 23 \u00a0 and begged Him earnestly, saying, \u201cMy little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live.\u201d 24 \u00a0 So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him and thronged Him. 25 \u00a0 Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, 26 \u00a0 and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. 27 \u00a0 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. 28 \u00a0 For she said, \u201cIf only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.\u201d 29 \u00a0 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. 30 \u00a0 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, \u201cWho touched My clothes?\u201d 31 \u00a0 But His disciples said to Him, \u201cYou see the multitude thronging You, and You say, \u2018Who touched Me?\u2019 \u00a0\u201d 32 \u00a0 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. 33\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. 34 \u00a0 And He said to her, \u201cDaughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.\u201d 35 \u00a0 While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue\u2019s house who said, \u201cYour daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?\u201d<\/p>\n

36 \u00a0 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, \u201cDo not be afraid; only believe.\u201d 37 \u00a0 And He permitted no one to follow Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James. 38 \u00a0 Then He came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and saw a tumult and those who wept and wailed loudly. 39 \u00a0 When He came in, He said to them, \u201cWhy make this commotion and weep? The child is not dead, but sleeping.\u201d 40 \u00a0 And they ridiculed Him. But when He had put them all outside, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those who were with Him, and entered where the child was lying. 41 \u00a0 Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, \u201cTalitha, cumi,\u201d which is translated, \u201cLittle girl, I say to you, arise.\u201d 42 \u00a0 Immediately the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age. And they were overcome with great amazement. 43 \u00a0 But He commanded them strictly that no one should know it, and said that something should be given her to eat.<\/p>\n
Prayer:\u00a0 O Heavenly King, Comforter, Spirit of Truth, Who art everywhere present and fillest all things, Treasury of good things and Giver of life: Come and dwell in us, and cleanse us of all impurity, and save our souls, O Good One.<\/p>\n

Matthew 9:27 \u00a0 When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, \u201cSon of David, have mercy on us!\u201d 28 \u00a0 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, \u201cDo you believe that I am able to do this?\u201d They said to Him, \u201cYes, Lord.\u201d 29 \u00a0 Then He touched their eyes, saying, \u201cAccording to your faith let it be to you.\u201d 30 \u00a0 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, \u201cSee that no one knows it.\u201d 31 \u00a0 But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country. 32 \u00a0 As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon-possessed. 33 \u00a0 And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, \u201cIt was never seen like this in Israel!\u201d 34 \u00a0 But the Pharisees said, \u201cHe casts out demons by the ruler of the demons.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mark 6:1 \u00a0 Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him. 2 \u00a0 And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, \u201cWhere did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands! 3 \u00a0 Is this not the carpenter, the Son of\u00a0Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?\u201d So they were offended at Him. 4 \u00a0 But Jesus said to them, \u201cA prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.\u201d 5 \u00a0 Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. 6 \u00a0 And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.<\/p>\n
Prayer:\u00a0 Our Father, Who art in \u00a0Heaven, hallowed by Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.<\/p>\n
Thursday<\/p>\n
Mathew 9:35 \u00a0 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.* 36 \u00a0 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary* and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 \u00a0 Then He said to His disciples, \u201cThe harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.\u201d\u00a0 (Mark 6)\u00a07 \u00a0 And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits. 8 \u00a0 He commanded them to take nothing for the journey except a staff\u2014 no bag, no bread, no copper in their money belts\u2014 9 \u00a0 but to wear sandals, and not to put on two tunics. 10 \u00a0 Also He said to them, \u201cIn whatever place you enter a house, stay there till you depart from that place. 11And whoever* will not receive you nor hear you, when you depart from there, shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them.* Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!\u201d<\/p>\n

Matthew 10:1 \u00a0 And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. 2 \u00a0 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; 3 \u00a0 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was* Thaddaeus; 4 \u00a0 Simon the Cananite,* and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him. 5 \u00a0 These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: \u201cDo not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. 6But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7And as you go, preach, saying, \u2018The kingdom of heaven is at hand.\u2019 8Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead,* cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. 9Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, 10nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor\u00a0sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food.\u00a0 …. 16\u201c Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. 17But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues. 18You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. 19But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; 20for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.<\/p>\n

21\u201c Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. 22And you will be hated by all for My name\u2019s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. 23When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes. 24\u201c A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. 25It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub,* how much more will they call those of his household! 26Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known. 27\u201c Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. 28And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him\u00a0\u00a0who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father\u2019s will. 30But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. 32\u201c Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. 34\u201c Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. 35For I have come to \u2018set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law\u2019; 36and \u2018a man\u2019s enemies will be those of his own household.\u2019* 37He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. 40\u201c He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. 41He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet\u2019s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man\u2019s reward. 42And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold<\/p>\n
