Luke 17:1 \u00a0 Then He said to the disciples, \u201cIt is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! 2It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. 3Take heed to\u00a0\u00a0yourselves. If your brother sins against you,* rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you,* saying, \u2018I repent,\u2019 you shall forgive him.\u201d 5 \u00a0 And the apostles said to the Lord, \u201cIncrease our faith.\u201d 6 \u00a0 So the Lord said, \u201cIf you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, \u2018Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,\u2019 and it would obey you. 7And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, \u2018Come at once and sit down to eat\u2019? 8But will he not rather say to him, \u2018Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink\u2019? 9Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not.* 10So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, \u2018We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.\u2019 \u00a0\u201d<\/p>\n

Prayer:\u00a0 O my God I firmly believe that Thou art one God in three Divine Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; I believe that Thy Divine Son became man, and died for our sins, and that he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and all the truths which the Holy Catholic Church teaches, because Thou hast revealed them, who canst neither deceive nor be deceived. (Act of Faith)<\/p>\n
Monday
\nJohn 11:Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. 2 \u00a0 It was that Mary who anointed the Lord with fragrant oil and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick. 3 \u00a0 Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying, \u201cLord, behold, he whom You love is sick.\u201d 4 \u00a0 When Jesus heard that, He said, \u201cThis sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.\u201d 5 \u00a0 Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. 6 \u00a0 So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was. 7 \u00a0 Then after this He said to the disciples, \u201cLet us go to Judea again.\u201d 8The disciples said to Him, \u201cRabbi, lately the Jews sought to stone You, and are You going there\u00a0again?\u201d 9 \u00a0 Jesus answered, \u201cAre there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. 10But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.\u201d 11 \u00a0 These things He said, and after that He said to them, \u201cOur friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.\u201d 12 \u00a0 Then His disciples said, \u201cLord, if he sleeps he will get well.\u201d 13 \u00a0 However, Jesus spoke of his death, but they thought that He was speaking about taking rest in sleep. 14 \u00a0 Then Jesus said to them plainly, \u201cLazarus is dead. 15And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, that you may believe. Nevertheless let us go to him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prayer:\u00a0 Having risen from sleep I hasten to Thee, O Lord, Lover of men, and by Thy loving-kindness I strive to do Thy work, and I pray to Thee:\u00a0 help me at all times, in everything, and deliver me from every evil thing of the world and every attack of the devil, and lead me into Thine eternal Kingdom. For Thou art my Creator, the Giver and Provider of everything good, and all my hope is in Thee, and to Thee I send up glory, now and ever, and to the ages of ages.\u00a0 Amen.

Tuesday
\nJohn 11:16 \u00a0 Then Thomas, who is called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, \u201cLet us also go, that we may die with Him.\u201d 17 \u00a0 So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days. 18 \u00a0 Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles* away. 19 \u00a0 And many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. 20 \u00a0 Now Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. 21 \u00a0 Now Martha said to Jesus, \u201cLord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 \u00a0 But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.\u201d 23 \u00a0 Jesus said to her, \u201cYour brother will rise again.\u201d 24 \u00a0 Martha said to Him, \u201cI know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.\u201d 25 \u00a0 Jesus said to her, \u201cI am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?\u201d 27 \u00a0 She said to Him, \u201cYes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
Prayer:\u00a0 Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears! Turn, then, O most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
\nV. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.

28 \u00a0 And when she had said these things, she went her way and secretly called Mary her sister,\u00a0\u00a0saying, \u201cThe Teacher has come and is calling for you.\u201d 29 \u00a0 As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly and came to Him. 30 \u00a0 Now Jesus had not yet come into the town, but was* in the place where Martha met Him. 31 \u00a0 Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, \u201cShe is going to the tomb to weep there.\u201d* 32 \u00a0 Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, \u201cLord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.\u201d 33 \u00a0 Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. 34 \u00a0 And He said, \u201cWhere have you laid him?\u201d They said to Him, \u201cLord, come and see.\u201d 35 \u00a0 Jesus wept. 36 \u00a0 Then the Jews said, \u201cSee how He loved him!\u201d 37 \u00a0 And some of them said, \u201cCould not this Man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?\u201d<\/p>\n

Prayer:\u00a0 Queen of Heaven rejoice, alleluia: For He whom you merited to bear, alleluia, Has risen as He said, alleluia. Pray for us to God, alleluia. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia. Because the Lord is truly risen, alleluia.
\nLet us pray : O God, who by the Resurrection of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, granted joy to the whole world: grant we beg Thee, that through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, His Mother, we may lay hold of the joys of eternal life. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

\nJohn 11:38 \u00a0 Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39 \u00a0 Jesus said, \u201cTake away the stone.\u201d Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, \u201cLord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.\u201d 40 \u00a0 Jesus said to her, \u201cDid I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?\u201d 41 \u00a0 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying.* And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, \u201cFather, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.\u201d 43 \u00a0 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, \u201cLazarus, come forth!\u201d 44 \u00a0 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, \u201cLoose him, and let him go.\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0 Then many of the Jews who had come to Mary, and had seen the things Jesus did, believed in Him. 46 \u00a0 But some of them went away to the Pharisees and told them the things Jesus did. 47 \u00a0 Then the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered a council and said, \u201cWhat shall we do? For this Man works many signs.<\/p>\n
Prayer:\u00a0 The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.\u00a0\u00a0 And she conceived of the Holy Ghost.
\nHail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and in the hour of our death.<\/p>\n
Friday
\nJohn 11:49 \u00a0 And one of them, Caiaphas, being high priest that year, said to them, \u201cYou know nothing at all, 50 \u00a0 nor do you consider that it is expedient for us* that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation should perish.\u201d 51 \u00a0 Now this he did not say on his own authority; but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, 52 \u00a0 and not for that nation only, but also that He would gather together in one the children of God who were scattered abroad. 53 \u00a0 Then, from that day on, they plotted to put Him to death. 54 \u00a0 Therefore Jesus no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went from there into the country near the wilderness, to a city called Ephraim, and there remained with His disciples. 55 \u00a0 And the Passover of the Jews was near, and many went from the country up to Jerusalem before the Passover, to purify themselves. 56 \u00a0 Then they sought Jesus, and spoke among themselves as they stood in the temple, \u201cWhat do you think\u2014 that He will not come to the feast?\u201d 57 \u00a0 Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a command, that if anyone knew where He was, he should report it, that they might seize Him.<\/p>\n
Prayer:\u00a0 \u00a0Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that, we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an Angel, may by His Passion and Cross, be brought to the glory of His Resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord.<\/p>\n
Saturday
\nLuke 17:11 \u00a0 Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 \u00a0 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13 \u00a0 And they lifted up their voices and said, \u201cJesus, Master, have mercy on us!\u201d 14 \u00a0 So when He saw them, He said to them, \u201cGo, show yourselves to the priests.\u201d And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. 15 \u00a0 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 \u00a0 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. 17 \u00a0 So Jesus answered and said, \u201cWere there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?\u201d 19 \u00a0 And He said to\u00a0him, \u201cArise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.\u201d<\/p>\n
