“You tell everyone, right to their face, about their wickedness and about their moral illness! And you do it it harshly, firmly and maliciously. But whatever is good in a sinner, you ignore that. That is the difference between you and the one whose name is in our calendar. From the same mouth, both cold and warm air can proceed. According to need, the mouth is adjusted to deliver warm or cold air. So it is in spiritual work too. Whenever a sinner can be corrected by the warmth of love, that is when the coldness of punishment and criticism should be avoided.”
