“When a Christian forgives his neighbor some transgression he forgets that sin and does not talk about it to others. But you are committing two sins. First you are boasting about forgiving and second you are openly proclaiming the forgiven sin thus bringing judgment once again on your neighbor. A great evil of our times is a hectic telling and retelling of others sins from dawn to dusk… Forgiving means not only not taking revenge but also covering the brother’s sin with silence and forgetfulness.”
