Tikhvin Icon of the Theotokos: few icons have traveled as much as this one written by the Evangelist Luke. It was moved from Jerusalem to Constantinople in the 5th Century, miraculously traveled to Russia in the 14th, was taken by the Nazis to Latvia and then by an Orthodox Bishop to the US. Today is is back home in Russia. It was a blessing everywhere it went: can the same be said of us?
