If it is not properly placed, it can serve as the cause for the destruction of the whole building. That is how it is in the life of a Christian. If a person does not practice sobriety and vigilance and so places in the edifice of his soul some incorrectly formed brick, some bad deed, then this can become the cause of his crumbling, his destruction.”
