Martyr Kyriake of Nicomedia:  Kyriake is one of many Virgin Saints whose beauty enraptured pagan persecutors.   As with others, their lust turned to anger  and vengeance when she refused to deny the Faith and submit to them.  We must have her courage when we tell others about our Faith, but to do this effectively, we have to know our Faith and live it as witnesses to those around us.
